The Ida Area Farmers' Market is a community organized market in downtown Ida Grove, Iowa. We are committed to providing good quality locally grown produce, baked goods, honey, wine, eggs, jelly, and crafts.

Operated and managed by a subcommittee of Ida Grove Community Partners the market was established in 2015 and is open Thursdays from 4:30pm during the Summer/Fall season.

All products sold at the Ida Area Farmers' Market is grown solely in Iowa, specifically Ida County or the adjoining counties of Cherokee, Crawford, Buena Vista, Woodbury, Monona, and Carroll.

The Ida Area Farmers' Market participates in the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Farmers' Market Nutrition Program as well as the SFMNP (Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program).

The WIC Program provides supplemental foods, health care referrals and nutrition education at no cost to low-income pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding post-partum women, and to infants and children up to 5 years of age, who are found to be at nutritional risk.

The Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides low-income seniors with coupons that can be exchanged for eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs) at farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community-supported agriculture programs.
